Is there a letter to a friend you’ve been meaning to send for weeks? An essay assignment that’s got you stumped? A craft project that you’d prefer to do in the company of others? We’ve been missing getting to share the creative energy of our community, so we’re bringing you a collaborative space online!
On the third Tuesday of every month, the Pratt Museum will be hosting an open creative session on Zoom; bring a project you’ve been working on, and get inspired by the (virtual) company of your fellow community members! Stop by for a few minutes or all evening; share what you’re working on in the chat; say hi to old friends and meet new ones. We’ll be playing music and films from local artists, and offering breakout rooms if you’d like to share what you’re working on with others on the call?
Don’t have a project in the works? Don’t worry! We’ll also provide a different prompt each month to inspire writing and art ~ with the option to submit what you create to the museum’s digital archives as a part of our Postcards from Unprecedented Times project.
