Community. Creativity. Action.
The Pratt Museum is excited to invite you to get involved with Finding Home in Homer, a project beginning this fall that invites local youth in Homer who have experienced housing insecurity to explore creative pieces that respond to the question “What is home?”.
Participating youth will receive mentorship from local artists, studio space and supplies to create their projects, and the opportunity to exhibit their work in the museum in the Spring of 2021. We hope this project inspires everyone in Homer to reflect on what home means to them, and what we can do as a community to ensure that everyone feels supported in seeking safe and stable housing.
