Featuring Homer’s own Metis Riley
Sunday, Aug 28 11am to 1pm Free
Does a morning creating art in picturesque landscapes sound like your perfect Sunday? Come Join us this Sunday for our second month of Plein air at the Pratt featuring Metis Riley.
Metis is a life- long Alaskan who began painting landscapes as a way to honor nature and experience the outdoors in a new, immersive way. With a background in DIY art such as zines and printmaking, one of her goals is to make oil painting accessible and enjoyable for all. Join Metis Riley on the beautiful forest trails of the Pratt to create tiny Plein Air paintings utilizing Altoid tins for easels.
