Nature Journaling for Kids

Nature Journaling is a practice of creativity and curiosity that draws from our own experiences in the natural world. Join local artist Kim McNett to learn beginner-friendly field sketching and recording techniques that will strengthen your observation and appreciation of the natural world.
This workshop is outdoors and designed for children. Parents are welcome to attend and help supervise but will not be provided with journaling materials. Please meet in the museum’s rear parking lot.
Workshops include a blank journal and use of all needed supplies at no extra cost. For additional supplies and activity prompts, Kim’s handmade Nature Journal Kits will be available for purchase at the workshop for $40.
