We will create descriptive illustrations of local mushrooms and other fungi in mixed media working with live specimens. All supplies will be provided\, or feel free to bring your own. No experience or artistic talent required! DESCRIPTION:Join Climate Change Theater Action (CCTA) for a special theater production of “Laughing all the Way to the Brink.” Featuring eight international plays and music\, this program highlights our changing climate and the power of the individual to make a difference. Performed by DramaforaChange and RKP Productions. Free\, drop-in program. \nAbout CCTA\nClimate Change Theatre Action (CCTA) is a global\, biennial festival that uses the power of theater to spark conversation and inspire climate action. Since its launch in 2015\, CCTA has commissioned 50 playwrights from around the world to create short plays exploring different aspects of climate change. Communities are invited to produce their own performances\, from staged readings and full productions to podcasts and film adaptations\, tailoring events to local audiences while incorporating meaningful actions such as conversations with scientists\, partnerships with environmental organizations\, or civic engagement activities.
