Are you curious about what makes this time of year, and its varied weather patterns, so special? Ready to use artistic expression as a tool to explore local weather and climate phenomena?
Join us at the Pratt next Friday, October 24th for our interdisciplinary workshop, The Breath of Ltseghi, led by local tribal artist and cultural expert Argent Kvasnikoff. Dig into local weather and climate phenomena as told through indigenous and folk knowledge, supported by scientific understanding and human philosophy.
Participants will be guided in painting their own wooden cloud formations and learn to create clouds and sky formations using different media. Wearing light blue to celebrate the day is encouraged!
