Science, Art, and Culture Day Camp at the PRATT
Wednesday, July 23 – Friday, Jul 25 | noon – 4pm
Spend three afternoons learning about the Science, Art, and Culture of the Kachemak Bay region!
What makes the place we live in so unique? Join us for a Day Camp that combines the knowledge of four Homer organizations – Kachemak Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (KBNERR), Homer Council on the Arts (HCOA), Seldovia Village Tribe (SVT), and us here at the Pratt Museum.
Your child will join our Education & Public Programs Manager as well as our other Educators from the collaborating organizations each day for this three-day program. Campers will focus on each of the themes (Science, Art, & Culture) for a day. Kids will explore the beach, make art, and learn about traditional ways of processing and preparing kelp and bidarki.
All materials and supplies provided. Campers must come prepared each day for outdoor play and exploration regardless of weather. Pre-registration is required online with the form below.
