MUSHROOM SKETCHING AND IDENTIFICATION FOR KIDS WITH KIM MCNETT
Friday, September 5 | 1:30-3pm
$15 per child, $10 per Pratt Museum Member
Award-winning naturalist, artist, teacher and wilderness guide, Kim McNett, teaches nature journaling and visual art to all ages. This workshop integrates the science of mushroom identification with journaling and sketching through personal experience and the enduring process of discovery. Workshop includes a blank journal and use of all needed supplies.
This workshop is outdoors and designed for independent learners ages 7-12. Please send your child with the proper gear to be prepared for any weather! Caregivers are not required to stay with children during workshop duration but may stay in a supervisory role if deemed necessary. Please remember to print the waiver/release form and bring a completed copy to the workshop (we will have additional copies available on the day of the event).
