Mindful Movement for Kids

Artist and educator Molissa Udevitz helps you slow down and connect with the forest through mindful activities that encourage observation, heighten your senses, and use movement to better understand the landscape. You will leave feeling inspired and nourished by the natural world.
This workshops is designed for ages 5-12. Parents are welcome to attend in order to help supervise. Plan to hike up to one mile and be outside for the entire workshop. No previous movement or meditation experience necessary. Please meet in the museum’s rear parking lot.
These workshops are the live version of Boreal Forest Duet, a collaborative limited edition artist book created for the In a Time of Change: Boreal Forest Stories exhibit, on view this summer at Pratt Museum. Hand-bound Boreal Forest Duet books will be available for sale at these workshops for $20, cash or check only.
