HHS Alaska History Rephotography Project First Friday Open House

HHS Alaska History Rephotography Project First Friday Open House
Friday, May 1 | 4-5pm | HHS Commons
Stop by Homer High School Commons on Friday, May 1 to explore HHS’s Alaska History student’s Rephotography Presentations!
Students will be there to answer questions and share more about the rephotography project, which involved selecting a photo from the Pratt Museum’s permanent collection representing key themes of the territorial period from Anchor Point to Homer. Over the last month, they used primary and secondary sources to research the context of their photo, visited the site to “rephotograph” the original photo location, and documented how things have changed over time. Come support our Homer High School students and learn something new about Homer’s history in the process!
Questions? Please contact Pratt Museum Executive Director Whitney Harness at director@prattmuseum.org or HHS teacher Lucas Parsley at LParsley@kpbsd.k12.ak.us.
