Collections Care Presentation and Workshop

Darian LaTocha, Collections Manager at the Anchorage Museum, will be visiting the Pratt February 18-20. He will be working in collections, surveying the artifacts for special re-housing needs, with a focus on objects that will need hand-built boxes. On Thursday, February 19, Mr. LaTocha will give a presentation on rehousing and moving collections, and will talk about his experiences working with the National Museum of the American Indian. After the presentation, Mr. LaTocha will hold a short workshop on making archival boxes for your own collections and treasures. Contact Savanna Bradley for more details.
