Basket Art Weaving with Plant Materials

Weaving baskets from plant materials is a magical process with Mavis Muller, Homer’s award-winning, internationally-known basket artist and story weaver. Mavis will guide and collaborate with each student to create a unique woven vessel using locally gathered plant materials.
Materials are provided. Mavis will share unique embellishments from her personal collection.
