Support the Pratt Museum

Become a Member!

Becoming a Pratt Museum member is a great way to get involved in Museum programs and events, stay connected to the Pratt after a summer visit, and learn more about the Kachemak Bay region and beyond. Membership support helps the Pratt involve more than 3,500 students in Museum programs every year and helps the Museum provide dynamic programs and exhibits for all ages. Members play active roles at every level of the Museum and help us serve as a model among the nation's community-based museums.

And membership support helps ensure the Pratt's long-term financial sustainability. A quick back-of-the-napkin calculation reveals that it costs roughly $21 to host each Pratt Museum visitor. But, in order to make a Museum visit possible for broad audiences, we charge far less. Help us fill this gap.

Consider Planned Giving

There are many options for Planned Giving:

  • Bequest: Leave a legacy by making a gift through your will.
  • Donate a Life Insurance Policy or name the Pratt as beneficiary.
  • Contribute to the Pratt Museum Endowment at the Homer Foundation.

Planned Giving helps ensure the long-term financial health of the Pratt Museum and helps you plan your philanthropy in the context of your personal financial situation. You may be able to do more for the Pratt than you ever thought possible.

Decisions about making a lasting gift are not easy to make. Contact Heather Beggs, Museum Director at 907-235-8635.
