Tide Book: Kachemak Bay Wristwatch

How high's the tide? Coming in or going out?

Kachemak Bay communities revolve around the ocean's watery clock. Many residents carry dog-eared tide books and consult them to schedule their days - where to secure their boats and when to dig clams, catch fish, unload supplies, visit neighbors, walk the beach, or make a boat run to town.
